Michael Baker provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for Bechtel’s new office spaces in Houston’s CityWest Place. The renovation spans 10 floors, plus three floors in an adjacent building and consisted of the removal and redesign of interior walls, coordinating new system designs with existing equipment for areas such as conference rooms, breakrooms, coffee bars, reception areas and server rooms.

Our team conducted a comprehensive survey of the current spaces to precisely document and evaluate any design considerations. The mechanical design systems encompassed new ductwork and air devices integrated with existing building systems. The electrical design systems covered power and circuiting, panel relocation and lighting control systems.
